After School Program

PLC Afterschool is the after-school program located at Pearland Learning Center for students K-5 th grades. In addition to pick up and snack time, students will have the option to participate in one of the following activities daily:

ENRICHMENT

HOMEWORK HELP

Now more than ever, students have a mountain of homework to complete daily. To help our students complete their homework before returning home for dinner and some time to relax, we offer homework help for all grade levels, every day.

REGISTRATION

Registration begins April 15, 2018. Spaces are limited for each grade, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations will be processed by order of receipt and will continue until all spaces are filled.

To register, please complete a registration form, medical form, and pickup authorization. You will receive a confirmation of enrollment via email once all the necessary information is received.

HOURS AND PICK-UP POLICY

PLC Afterschool will pick up students from the designated area at their school and taken to the Pearland Learning Center Campus. All students must be picked up by 6 PM, after which a $1 per minute late fee will be imposed.

All students must enroll for five days a week. They may select an activity of their chase – based on availability – each day.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS

All siblings will be given a 5% discount on overall tuition.

CANCELLATION, REFUNDS, AND ABSENCES

Once the term starts, no refunds will be awarded. If cancelling enrollment prior to the start of the term, a refund may be processed for a $100 administrative fee per student.

If PLC Afterschool cancels a class, a full refund will be granted.

No refunds or make-ups are granted for student absences.

TUITION AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

The cost of the program is $100 per week. Two payment options are available:

Full-term payment and monthly installments.
Full-term payment can be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card.

Monthly installment payments will be processed via credit card on the first day of each month. To cancel a monthly installment, a 30-day notice must be provided in writing to PLC.

MONART TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As a student enrolled in Monart classes, I understand that the projects presented in my classes are the Intellectual Property of Monart School of Art, Houston and Pearland and Rangoli, Inc. and are owned under copyright law by them.

I understand that the Monart School of Art owners have an agreement with Monart that they will not give or sell the Monart projects to any individual or organization.

All materials and a portfolio are included within the price of the tuition. The price per class is $22.91 for 60-minute classes and $27 for 90-minute classes when students enroll for a full semester. Single-class drop ins cost $28 for 60 minute classes and $33 for 90-minute classes. No refunds.

I understand that I cannot take the teaching materials from my classes at Monart and use them in any capacity, including but not limited to any job in which I teach, or as the parent of home school student groups, either as a volunteer or as a paid employee.

I understand that the artwork prepared by the student is the property of the student. I also understand that student artwork may be withheld in order to compile a book of all artwork created by the student over the course of the class term.

I understand that Monart is not liable or responsible for any harm that may come to me or my family on Monart premises or during a Monart class or event.

I understand that any missed class or class credits cannot be applied towards camps or vice-versa.

I understand that I will not receive a refund for my tuition. In the case that the student misses any classes, it is the student’s responsibility to make up the missed class before the end of that term.
